This project was done as part of a personal exploration of different modeling/rigging techniques. Much like some of my other renders, the idea was around a fancy brand reveal for the end of a product launch / start of a film. I really like the charm that the toon-shader look brings to this. I was going for a playful kind of "Team Fortress 2" kind of feeling, almost like an indie game company brand.

The hand was a super interesting main component in this one. I wanted to see if I could get away with modeling it exclusively with the Volume Builder/Volume Mesher workflow and then re-mesh it to get the result I needed. It ended up working out perfectly and saved me a ton of time! While this is by no means a perfect rig or model, I found that it was just good enough to get the idea across in the final render.
